Occupational Therapy

Speech and Language Pathologists work on the underlying deficits of academic and communication challenges to maximize potential of school aged children whose academic performance is affected by their language deficiencies.

Our Educational Therapists play a special role in our centre. They are specially trained by our SLPs to take our goals on board when assisting the student; their respective training provides them with the necessary expertise to assist the child through academic settings.

Does your child have difficulty with writing? Paying attention? Feeding? Dressing? Playing? Having difficulties in these areas can greatly impede the child’s ability to perform to his/her maximum potential. Occupational Therapists can identify the underlying deficits involving physical, sensory and cognitive functions.
